'An Action Hero' is an Indian Drama film of 2022, directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar that is made under the production company of Colour Yellow Productions and T-series Films.  

The film is set to be released on 2nd December, Friday. It’s a most awaited film for the fans of Khurrana as it is said to be genre breaking movie of his entire Bollywood career. Through its trailer, screening, and posters, it generated quite good popularity prior to its release. The movie's full advance reservations have been made, and early box office projections indicate that it may have a good start.

On 2nd December, 'An Action Hero' early bookings were made available for a single day, and on 3rd December, Saturday, generous bookings started.

As per recent estimates, the movie has sold more than 20,000 tickets in advance for the opening weekend. As of Wednesday morning, the total bookings for Ayushmann's film were INR 1.50 Cr for the first day of pre-sales.

An Action Hero Box Office Day 1: Total Screen Count 

The production of 'An Action Hero' was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 30 Crores and Print & Advertising costs are Rs 10 Crores that summing up the total budget to Rs 40 Crores.

As given the buzz through its promotions, it would target a broad release, about 3000 screens are expected to be filled in India for the cult fan base.

An Action Hero Box Office Day 1: Opening Day Collection 

Box-Office projections for the film before its release were that it would make 2.25 crore on Day one and less than 10 crore over the weekend. Week one might bring in Rs 19 Crores, bringing the total lifetime box office haul to 25 cr. It is said to have cost around Rs 40 crore to produce. 

In the recent billboard, Ayushmann poses with a rifle and seems uneven and rough, tried this as a new project of his career.

The movie may not count a generous amount on its opening day because of its poor promotion and trailer that look more like Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan bombed at the box office, though the actor can still hope for a miracle.
