Delhi COVID-19 DDMA Meeting Jan 27: In the midst of the Omicron-driven third wave of COVID-19 in India, Delhi suspended weekend curfews as well as odd-even restrictions for stores on Thursday, 27 January, according to news agency PTI, citing Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) officials. 

What's Open

Bars and restaurants can open with only half of their capacity. Cinemas, too, can reopen at half capacity. Marriage ceremonies in Delhi will now be limited to 200 individuals. Private Offices will be allowed to operate with 50% of their total workforce with adherence to the COVID-19 norms.

What's Closed

Schools in the national capital will remain closed, according to the DDMA, and the subject will be revisited at the next meeting, according to PTI. Night Curfew will remain in place to avoid crowding after 10 P.M.

Only after the order is issued will the adjustments take effect. The DDMA is anticipated to issue the directive either tonight or tomorrow morning. Until then, the present curbs will remain in place.
