Following the success of F2, Dil Raju launched F3: Fun and Frustration in February 2019. The film's principal photography began in December 2020 and ended in January 2022. It's a standalone sequel to F2 from 2019. which was about two friends Venky & Varun. Varun marries after Venky with the hopes of controlling his wife, but they both become frustrated with the marital life, which is not pleasurable.

The movie is directed by Anil Ravipudi, who previously delivered a massive hit Sarileru Neekevvaru, which earned more than ₹250 crores at the box office.
Considering the budget of this movie (₹70 crores) is relatively higher in comparison to its first part (₹30 crores), anywhere around ₹150 crores in total collections would be the targetted box office numbers. F3 is expected to generate atleast ₹90 crores in the first week alone.
Following several COVID-19 setbacks, the film will now be released in theatres on May 27, 2022.
