After giving a massive hit Dangal along with Aamir Khan, the actress Fatima Sana Shaikh unfolds the situation of battling rejections and facing financial crises, she's has seen that all. In an interview with Pinkvilla, she opens up about it.
She confronts and opens up about the dreadful experience and says, "I was molested when I was just three years old. People thought that women don't need to open up about molestation. There is a stigma around the whole sexual abuse issue, which is why women don't open up about being exploited in life. But I wish, today the world changes. There are more recognition and education about it. Pehle toh yehi kaha jaata tha that don't speak about it. People will think about it differently."
She even talked about the Casting couch that she suffered during the initial acting career. She commented, "Those were the times when I was told that I only get this job if I agree to have sex. Casting Couch is all around, and there were the times when I was replaced due to others reference".
