Khiladi, the latest Tollywood film, debuted at the box office on a strong note on Friday (February 11), much to the joy of Ravi Teja fans. On day one, the film earned close to Rs 7 crore at the box office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to Telugu cinema norms, the opening day collection is quite impressive. On the second day too, the movie amassed more than ₹7 crores.
The film is also claimed to have exceeded Teja's previous venture, Krack, which earned ₹6.25 crores on its first day. Although the film was released on its own on Friday, it will compete with Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty's DJ Tillu, which has been released this Saturday (February 12). The rivalry may also have impacted Khiladi's collection hunt & only future will tell whether Ravi Teja starrer will be able to overpower DJ Tillu in theatres or not.
