The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET 2021 result today, October 29, 2021. The result of approximately 16 lakh candidates (except for 2 students from Solapur) is expected to go live anytime on Friday on the official websites ntaneet.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Once the result is declared, the candidates will be able to check their results using login credentials such as registration number, date of birth, hall ticket number, etc. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 was held on September 12, 2021, at designated centres across the country.
With the Supreme Court announcing its verdict in favour of NEET 2021 results, candidates can expect their scorecards to be released anytime soon, on the official websites.
The expectations of the NEET 2021 result are increasing every hour. According to the media reports, the result may likely be declared in the late afternoon or evening, however, there is no specific date and time that have been announced by NTA. The aspirants are asked to keep a check at the website and Twitter handle of NTA from time to time.
In a series of events, the Bombay High Court has directed the agency to conduct the NEET 2021 exam again for two students from Solapur. They had received the wrong question paper-answer sheet combination due to the invigilator’s mistake. The high court stated that NTA should conduct a fresh exam for both students and declare their results together with the others. However, on Thursday with the Supreme Court announcing its verdict in favour of the NEET 2021 result, the expectations increased that the result would be out shortly.
The apex court gave a nod to announce the results for 16 lakh candidates while postponing the verdict regarding the two Solapur students. With this verdict out, chances are that the NEET 2021 results could be declared on Friday at neet.nta.nic.in.
In order to check the result candidates have to visit the official website of NEET 2021 i.e., neet.nta.nic.in. Then, on the official website, scroll down and click on the tab which reads Download Scorecard/ Result”. Then click on the tab, a new page will open asking for login credentials such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Thereafter, enter the credentials and submit the same to access the NEET scorecard 2021. All the candidates have to the printout of the scorecard as it would be required till the admissions are complete.

GMC Nandurbar government college recorded the lowest cut-off rank in Maharashtra last year with 35,547. In Rajasthan, GMC, Barmer cut-off rank was 9,006 in the year 2020 and counted as the lowest in Rajasthan.
In Karnataka, state quota counselling is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Karnataka NEET counselling 2020 was held in two rounds, followed by a mop-up round. Khaja Bande Navaz Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gulbarg, admitted students in the MBBS course with the lowest cut-off rank of 69,483 in Karnataka.
In Kerala, Government Medical College, Kollam, admitted students up to rank 790. Whereas, Government Medical College, Thrissur accepted till 748.
For other states, the students are advised to visit the websites of different state counselling authorities to find the cut-off ranks of their states. It is highly possible that the cut-off rank in 2020 to vary depending upon the number of seats and reservation norms.
