On Saturday, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) released the list of its candidates contesting the UP Elections 2022. According to the list, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will contest from Gorakhpur Urban seat while Dy. CM and BJP leader Keshav Prasad Maurya to contest fom Sirathu seat.
Among the female candidates given the ticket, Smt. Manju Siwach will contest from Modinagar sear. While, Smt. Minakshi Lekhi and Smt. Baby Rani Maurya will contest on Khurja (SC) and Agra (Rural) seats respectively.
The list was released during a press conference by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh at party headquarters in New Delhi.
The BJP released the list of 57 candidates who will contest in the first phase, 48 in the second phase and 105 in the third phase. The party tweeted the full list with tagline 'Aayegi to BJP hi' on its social media handle.

Apart from the BJP, several other parties including Congress, SP and BSP have partially released their lists of candidates contesting in the state Elections.
According to the reports, Bhim Army chief Chandra Shekhar Aazad on Saturday announced that his party (Azad Samaj Party), will not fight the state polls in alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP). The parties did not agree on the number of seats.
