Mufasa- The Lion King Release date

'Mufasa- The Lion King' is an upcoming movie which is set to be released on 5th July 2024. It would be the prequel to the 2019 film The Lion King. The film is directed by Barry Jenkins and written by Jeff Nathanson and stars Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

The prequel will depict Simba, having become king of the Pride Lands, as determined for his cub to follow in his paw prints while the origins of his late father Mufasa are explored.
